I have not been updating my blog for like 5 months. Thats quite impressive cuz i 'pecah rekod' LOL i dun think my friends reading my blog anymore. No updates, the same old dull thing, get real! Even some of my friends made a new blog layout and did not add me to their link. Perhaps they forgotten me. Haha serve me right for being ignorant. Now i only hope i can start to blog PROPERLY again. I used to blog a lot in the past but this year i blog less because i indulged myself in certain things and get addicted to it. My peers also dun have a blog and they are so passive in blogging.
3 ULTIMATE EXCUSES
- FACEBOOK
- BASKETBALL
- WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY
When i get accessed to the Internet, i only referred to these 3 things besides checking e-mail and listening songs in iTunes. Man this sucks! Technically, I put my blog at a corner and forget about it.
Readers, reborn of my blog. LOL

Test to try
First Question:
You are participating in a race. You overtake the seco! nd person. What position are you in?
Answer:If you answered that you are first, then you are wrong! If you overtake the second person and you take his place, you are second! Try not to screw up in the next question.
To answer the second question, don't take as much time as you took for the first question.
Second Question:
If you overtake the last person, then you are...?
Answer:If you answered th at you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?
Okay, now the bonus round:
There is a mute person who wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing one's teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and the purchase is done.
Now if there is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses, how should he express himself?
He just has to open his mouth and ask, so simple.
FRUSTRATING???!!!

Addiction
to a game called Two Line Vocabulary.. Any one of u know the famous comedy show 'Whose Line Is It Anyway'?
In the wild west, three outlaws, (A,B,C) are holed up in a shack with a sheriff and a posse of men approaching. A is the leader
B's two lines: "Don't worry, I'm a doctor," and, "What do I look like?"
C's two lines: "Did you hear that?" and, "Let's not go there."
A = Guys whats the matter?
C = "Did you hear that?"
A = They are just some bunch of ppl
B = "Don't worry, I'm a doctor,"
A = They are not going to do anything man
B = "What do I look like?"
C = "Did you hear that?"
A = Look, we are safe here OK
C = "Let's not go there."
B = "What do I look like?"
A = You look like an elephant
B = "Don't worry, I'm a doctor,"
A = Yeah right ya.. Hey I did hear something
C = "Did you hear that?"
A = Yes I did! I just said that! Did you hear it?
C = "Let's not go there."
A = Alright.. Awww.. there must be 20 guys out there with guns!
B = "What do I look like?"
A = You look like a cowarding idiot
C = "Did you hear that?"
A = Yes I did hear that.. Can we try to concentrate? These guys out there gonna kill us
B = "Don't worry, I'm a doctor,"
A = How will that help if they kill us?
B = "What do I look like?"
C = "Did you hear that?"
A = Ya I did hear that.. Dont start shooting! U getting mad??!! OoO LOOK! They got the canon!
B = "What do I look like?"
A = U look like an idiot
C = Argh lets not go there.. Argh.. (going out to attack)
B = "Don't worry, I'm a doctor,"
A = Wait wait we got to have a plan.. a big plan!
B = "What do I look like?"
C = "Did you hear that?"
A = Ya I did hear that..
B = "What do I look like?"
A = SHUDDUP! OK, get ready to take the explosives
C = "Let's not go there."
A/B = "Don't worry, I'm a doctor,"
A = (Open the door) They coming closer! (Close the door)
B = (Open the door) "What do I look like?"(Close the door)
A = How was that going to help? I got an idea.. Dont cry, C what happened?
C = "Let's not go there." (point to heaven)

4th Prefects Camp
Thanks to my laziness, I forgot to post about the 7th Klang Regional Convention and UNITY program.. Sighzz post about the camp only la.. let the past be the past.. Lazy again to catch up the memories as it is quite out to date.. I will go for the 'terkini'
Cut out the long story! HIGHLIGHTS (maybe not)
Day 1
A few number of students attended this camp.. Struck my mind whether this camp will be a disaster. Very 'high' in the bus , using the concept of inertia.. The bigger they are, the harder they fall.. Well I dun think so when it comes to inertia if u are walking in a bus.. Thats how I pull those big ppl punya kaki.. I sat beside Brandon, one of my close buddy.. Pity him for being a target for the top guns consists of Chua and Ashwin.. He got 'crushed' and 'squeezed' by them.. Being good, I helped Brandon to escape from their clutches before I myself kena.. This was how they responded to my concept of inertia.. I expected something strict and tough like last time but it turned out to be some sort of seminar.. zzz..
Here is the funniest part.. The loud speaker supposed to have a siren which sounds like an ambulance on the way but before that we heard the voice 'hello hello' .. The next one is when the facilitators asked us to jot things down but we dont have any pen or pencil.. So they went to buy.. The program was into a hold as we wait for the supply xD When the supply came, we found out that they bought cheap pencils.. The pencils not even sharpen.. HAHAHAHAHAHA how silly! We have to wait again for the pencils to be sharpen! PATHETIC! Brandon and I laughing at one corner with Sukdip smiling at us..
Oh ya! I almost forgot.. There are 4 teams (A)LPHA (B)RAVO (C)HARLIE (D)ELTA..I was in team ALPHA with Brandon , Sukhdip, Quah, Bryan, Kevin, Gobi, Harshween, Loh, Adib, Hafiz, Sharveen, Lee, Arvin and others.. Shit! I left out 2 and i cant recalled! *bang my head on the wall* They supposed to have more teams.. 16 in a team.. Argh me with my excuses.. Terrible fella..
Move on.. My favourite part? Presentation from each team about the things we learn and bla bla bla .. I represented my team to talk those stuffs together with others.. Some of the presentation is awesome, short and simple which means screwed up, and cute (when some of juniors said Chua is their most admired leader as a head prefect)
We got punished for some cowards did not wash their plates and left it somewhere.. I got shocked as it was the first time we got punished for this small simple deal/task to do.. Angkara normal students (no offence) Pecahkan rekod only.. I have been joining the prefects camp for 3 years yet nothing like this happened.. Sighzz
I was in the same tent with Sukhdip, Brandon and Arvin.. Arvin is one cute character where he kept on annoying Sukhdip.. Sukhdip and I with a 'cincai' character.. Brandon pula our Mr Hygiene.. He wants our tent to be clean or else we will not be sleeping or resting on it..
Nightwalk is kinda dull.. I expect solo type of nightwalk.. I freaked out when I was Form 1.. At the same time the facilitators tested our night sense.. After that, we rest in peace.. Ehhh..
Day 2
Rise and shine around 5 in the morning.. Woke up earlier than the alarm.. It is so COLD (normal la) We started out with morning exercise before our gropu presentation again.. This time is the war cry, coat of armor, vision and motto. I was given the privilege to talk about Alpha's motto and vision.. Once again, I showed my lameness by telling out my team motto (UNITED FOREVER) I made it like this..
(Understanding Nurture Integration Triumph Ecstatic Delightful Fantastic Outstanding Respect Enthusiasm Versatile Excellence) Rated
Some were wondered whether I left out the R.. LOL but I didnt.. Our war cry is rather short and simple compared to the rest.. Bravo is not bad either but Charlie and Delta are pretty competitive.. As we go for our jungle trekking.. Halfway, it rains.. Most of us got wet but not the facilitators.. They 'chun pei ' with rain coats.. zzz .. We got the chance to bath in the river afterwards (the rain stopped).. The night seminar is ok ok la.. Colonel Chua taught us about memory techniques and then let us to sleep early..
Day 3
As usual woke up early plus morning exercise.. We stretched ourselves to the max because those physical activities is upcoming.. 4 activities (The treasure of Lepo, Booby trap, broken bridge and hazard valley) We overcome each activities well enough..
Others
Highlights for Prefects Camp as follows when I was in
Form 1 = freaked out during nightwalk
Form 2 = din bath for 3 days 2 nights
Form 3 = knocked on those tree branches couple of times during jungle trekking
Form 4 = ???? Lame group presentation.. Bath once..
War cry for Charlie
- What works? Teamworks (3x) Go CHARLIE! with some action
War cry for Delta
Everywhere we go
ppl want to know
who we are
where we come from
we are the delta force
we drink H20
they drink Kopi O
our team OK
other team KO
Delta go go go !!

Cell phone vs Bible
Posted by Nicholas Yeo Yeong Chien at 17:42 0 comments
Myth
God help those who help themselves..
Majority do believe this phrase ... Even myself in the past.. But sometimes I ask myself this question 'Is this statement biblical?' Frankly, Benjamin Franklin quoted this and I am not saying he is right or wrong.. I think he just created a conspiracy with this quote.. I collected data and informations plus self research =) yeah right with some sources to assist me.. Appreciation to those websites and books!
How it come from?
- Traced back to Greek mythology, one of the Aesop's fables, "Hercules and the Waggoner" ..
- The waggoner was driving a heavy load down a muddy trail and finally became stuck.. The waggoner threw down his whip and knelt down to pray to Hercules for help. But Hercules appeared to him and said , " Don't just sprawl there, get up and DO it! The gods help them that help themselves"
Point # 1 : More important, this "verse" is unbiblical in its meaning. It is exactly the opposite of the message of scripture.
Jer 17:5 (NIV) This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD."
Prov 28:26 (NIV) He who trusts in himself is a fool...
Point # 2 : No point helping ourself if it is not the will of God.. One of the most neglected verses in American Christendom states:
Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
—Psalms 127:1 ESV
Point # 3 : Of course, my encounters with these do, do, doers of the word always leaves me wondering if I’m the one in the wrong. But then I read passages like this and I wonder:
“…apart from me you can do nothing.”
—John 15:5b ESV
Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
—Psalms 20:6-7 ESV
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.
—Proverbs 16:25 ESV
Point # 4 : In fact the Bible teaches the opposite. God helps the helpless!
Isaiah 25:4 declares, "For You have been a defense for the helpless, a defense for the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat..."
Romans 5:6 tells us, "For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly."
Point # 5 : God's law is just opposite
Romans 11 : 6 = If by grace , then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. but if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work
Ephesians 2:8 = By grace you have been saved through faith, that is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God not though works, lest anyone should boast
Point # 6 : The work of cross is the only work we need.
Galatians 2 : 21 = 'I do not set aside the grace of God;for if righteous comes through law (works) then Christ died in vain.
Point # 7 : God is sufficient. God will help us so that we dont need to help ourselves.
2 Corinthians 3:4-5 = We have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency comes from God
Point # 8 :
In 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 = To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Point # 9 : Now this is going to be exciting and interesting. I am quite confused. As I read :
In 1 Corinthians 3:6-11 = I sowed the seed but it was God who made the plant grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Final question :
Do we work or do we wait?
Note : These are just only opinions.. Viewers can choose whether they can believe it or not.. Although you know it and it is right, you will find it difficult to apply it.. If you want to argue about this matter, please comment.. Dont disturb the chatbox as it is for teen talk.. =) thanks

Free!
FREE!!!
I not only free from my monthly test.. It is only a short term
BUT
I am FREE from smtg else too.. Now this is an everlasting term.. SERIOUSLY
Yes! Today's Good Friday! No school for me but too bad some school din take off.. WHY? WHY? WHY?
Hmm.. Why is it named 'Good' Friday? Jesus died on the cross.. Is that good? No doubt of that! He died for us to cleanse our sin.. He died to make us FREE! He laid down his life as a sacrifice. In other words, Jesus knew it was His Father's (God's) will for him to die.
John 10:17-18
"Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father."
Mark 10:43-45
Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be the slave of all. For even I, the Son of Man, came here not to be served but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many."
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he only give his begotten son that whoever believes in him would not perish but have everlasting life..
Amen..

Mr 98
Haha Brian is so cute! He got 98 for both Modern Maths and Add Maths.. All the while his will is to get 100 but he haven't achieve it.. Poor thing.. Pity him.. Wan to know his mistakes? It just so pathetic man! Note: his cousin, Andy(Wee Loon) like to use the word 'pathetic'
For Modern Maths, they give a question about element in a set.. Brian will get 100 if he just ADD the digit '1'
For Add Maths, they give a question about a graph with modules function.. Brian will get 100 if he just ADD the alphabet 'f'
At least he is better than me, k.. I admire him and I respect him.. FRIEND! I duno why I din 'fight' with you.. Instead, I target Wesley.. Hmm.. But Wesley is one gifted smart freak..
Ok i got to go now.. Tata..

Quicktime Player
OMEGA! Suppose to say OMG (Oh My Goodness), not (Oh My God!) .. Thats swearing.. I HATE IT!
2 Monthly test is just in 2 weeks time.. AAAHHH.. Why are we exam-oriented?
Okay, let me talk about my first monthly test.. Results are all ok! Yipee! Did well and expectedly in almost all subjects except 4 subjects where I SCREW myself up! My friends can SCORE but i just PASS.. I mean it! PASS! -.-
I may not tell all.. Sorry ya.. But i give the average gua..
Language subjects (BM, BI, EST) = 78%
Maths subjects (Modern Maths and Add Maths) = 93%
Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) = 63%
4 subjects I screw up..
a) Physics
- Easy than expected.. My friends can get 90 above but i just made nincompoop mistakes.. Draw the graph wrongly.. Thats show how 'smart' am I to screw up myself..
b) Biology
- The paper is darn EASY! My friends can get 90 above but I *sigh*..
- Factors = differentation
- I din differeriate things properly and screw the whole paper.. Examples are mitochondrion and chrolopast.. carrier protein and pore protein
- I got bio knowledge in my brain but I din write it down properly.. I know about the structure, the part, the function etc
- Argh!
c) EST and PJK
- Still new in EST but feel like a kid when I give 'short' answers
- My common sense failed in PJK.. Did superbly well in subjective but objective grr..

I din go for lobotomy!
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
